I am buying a 2 door sedan, i'm 16 years old in NYS and I plan on adding to my parents exsiting insurance. Please give me an idea of how much i'll be paying a month.

Well I have a 4-door sedan in tha Wash. DC area and my insurance for a 6 month term is $1600 after the $350 discounts. I am 19 years old. So I'm pretty sure your insurance will be about the same. Some things to look into- a lot of insurance companies give discounts for ABS and Air Bags, and good grades.

Well, once you get you license, unless your parents exclude you from their insurance you can figure that it will go up between $150 to $200 per MONTH. The high cost of kids driving.

well since you do not have license and wont for two years it should be standard rate for just your parents but when you get your license it will go up but will still be low for sedan
