The Jews want an all-Jewish state,so out go the natives since they're of a different religion: this is not a religious war? This is not religion warping our political process? Why should we support Israel - other than Religion?

Well considering that 25% of Israeli citizens in Israel are not Jewish I think part of that statement is off base.
As for Gaza the IDF is not their anymore so the Palestinians are left to their own devices.
They could have the West Bank as well if they agree to peace.
As for reasons to support Israel other than they are the only free democracy in the area, they are a ideological ally of the west, the medical and technological achievements their enrich all of our lives- Yes the CPU in your computer was developed in Israel.
