I know what your going thru. I think our schools should be the 2nd place where they should teach and provide good meals. 1st is home of course. I don't think it's very healthy what you wanna do. Now, If your going to eat a big meal then definelty it should be breakfast since you have more time through out the day to burn it. But eventhough try to snack on something 3 hours after your breakfast, I'm mean a very small snack so you wont be so nasty full. pretty much try to eat a satisfying breakfast to a point where your not very full, TRY your best to snack 3 times before you go home and really watch how you eat your dinner. Don't over indulge since your metabolizm slows down later in the day. Try taking an apple, granola bar, beef jerky, protein bar, something you can at least take a couple of bites of in between classes and at lunch you can have a full snack. This is better than eatin huge at breakfast then starving yourself for lots of hours even during practice then going home so hungry and eating a huge meal at dinner.

Not really. More frequent smaller meals spaced out will help to keep your blood-sugar level more reasonable throughout the day.
Big Breakfast is OK. Not too big. Then bring some fruit in your backpack. Eat an apple or banana 2 or 3 times every 2-3 hours instead of lunch. Especially right before softball practice for energy.

Yes it is. You need to eat throughout the day. Also, if you wait that long, you are going to starve yourself and you'll probably end up binging. I know you don't want to, but you need to bring your own lunch. It only takes 5-10 min to put together a lunch the night before. Use left overs from meals, or ask your parents to help you. You can try selecting healthier foods from the cafeteria (depending on what they sell) and eating less of it, but bringing your own lunch is the best option.

you need to eat every 2-3hours to keep your metabolism going well.
what do you think is more important - what other people say about you or to lose your belly???
find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried - no junk food.

No thats not enough food, and ur snack and dinner are to close together. If you dont want to bring lunch then maybe bring a snack to school. You are not giving urself enough fuel for the day.eatting at say 8am and then holding out till 5pm is way to long. your matabalism will slow down.

I can't imagine that your school lunch is unhealthy. Skipping meals is the worst way to try to lose weight. It slows down your metabolism.

No, that is not healthy. Plus, you won't be able to think clearly for your afternoon classes. Just bring some fruit or a salad. Something healthy!!!

no you should be fine thats better then eating bad food at school because then that would be unhealthy thats good that you are trying to eat better and not eat that crap. good for you. im trying to do the same thing and believe me it is easier said then done.....why does bad food have to taste so good lol.
