You have nothing to worry about. Baby teeth have roots while they are anchored into the bone. The baby roots help guide the adult teeth into the proper place. If a adult tooth grows out of place then a lost baby tooth may have a root attached to it. The adult teeth how ever cause the baby roots to reabsorb into the bone, so they are typically not there when the tooth is lost and all you will see is the top portion of the tooth. That is actually a good thing. Even if a root were to 'break' it is common for it to surface it's self, and the body will elevate the remaining root tip out, rare occasions do require that you see a profession to have it taken out. But do not worry :}

If you pulled the teeth out by wobbling, there won't be a root. If you have it removed by the dentist, there will be a root. It's because the tooth wasn't ready to come out. The root is supposed to weaken and disintegrate when it naturally comes out. My canines had to be removed by the dentist. The root was twice the size of the part above the gums.

The answer is yes and no!
When they start of they have roots, by the time they are ready to come out, the adult tooth below it has resorbed (dissolved) the root of the baby tooth.
So it is fine that it came out flat, and it is unlikely that any root is left in. Keep an eye on it and when you are next at your dentist get them to have a look.
You should start to see the adult tooth underneath if you can't already

Baby teeth do have roots but as they grow up the root keeps getting shorter and shorter until it finally comes out making room for the premant tooth to come out. Don't worry about it just make sure you take him every six months to get his check up and cleaning.

No roots. The process of the permanent tooth erupting causes the roots of the baby teeth to resorb, which is what allows them to become loose and fall out.

My son has that too, only the adult tooth is in front. Same thing happened to me when I was a child. The dentist will numb the area and remove the baby tooth. Not very painful at all, then the adult tooth will move into the proper position.

The roots are not actually developed yet. If the root was still inside, she would be in major pain. I would also take her to the office to have panoramic x-ray taken just to be in the safe side.

Nope no roots. The roots are the next tooth that comes through.
