well, i luv both tats & piercings...with a nose piercing, there`s no pain, it`s very quick, & it`s not expensive, so...a tattoo, depending on design & size, can be a bit uncomfortable, takes more time to have done, & will probably be more expensive...but both of them are definitely worth it!!!

I had my nose pierced, (my school allowed it ) but my job didn't. There are clear spacers you can put in your nose to keep it from closing, but you can't really see the piercing. Some people do put band-aids on then to cover them. They close extremely fast though if you don't have anything in the hole. I bought some new rings to change it and they were the wrong ones so I went to put the old one back in and it closed up that fast.. Also, they heal kind of weird ( like at an angle )and I think that's why mine closed so fast. It doesn't hurt to get it pierced it might a little bit after it's done but that's it. I'd say if you want it done get it. I hope this helps you.

Maybe you should wait until you are mature enough to answer this for yourself. Sweetie, you have a long life ahead of you. There is no need to rush to do something like this. But the nose piercing may be less painful, less expensive, and less time consuming. If you do get a tattoo, be sure to go somewhere where the needles are disposable. You don't wanna get hepatitis from a firty needle. People bleed on those. Tattoos hurt pretty bad! But what ever you do, be safe, and take it easy.

Well I had my nose pierced last year and although it looked very pretty, it was such a pain..It was always hard applying make-up and washing your face because you would have to try to get around it..I don't know if the lady who did it just did a bad job or what but it was painful for as long as I had it (about 7 months.) I wouldn't get it, and if you do you usually get over it and don't want it anymore..A tattoo is a big deal though ! If I were to choose one I would go with the nose just because it's not permanent but you'll have to decide !

I have many piercings, and out of all of them, for some reason my nose hurt the worst. But it was worth it. I love it and I would never want to take it out. It only looks good on some people. I have a ring in because it suits my style lol.
Also, tattoos are permanent and you may regret it in the future. A piercing you can take out, a tattoo is there for life. They both hurt equally, in my opinion.
Personally if I were you I would go with the piercing.

Ok! I have my nose pierced and u ought to think about it before u do it . Because it does hurt like hell and when u get older u cannot wear facial jewerly on job interviews , depends on the type job that u are working at probadly cannot wear to work. But if you get a tattoo it won't be where everyone can see it. But i heard that hurts like hell too. Make sure that it is something that u can live with on a daily basis. Make your choice wisely.

since you are only 16 i would reccomend the nose, its amazing how your tastes will change from high school to college and then adulthood, and you can't take a tattoo out and let the hole heal back. I plan on getting my nose done in college :D

No..I would get my ears pierced a few times instead..much better looking and less painful.
Tatoos look gross to me..I dont like the idea of the after effects either. I like a nice clean bod.and skin too.

nose piercings are a distraction from your face. are you trying to cover-up?
Here is a test: if you can't stop thinking about it for a week, then get it. I'm often surprised how easily I forget about my desires when my mind is focused on more important things. I got a piercing when I was 17 and rebellious. What a waste of 60 bucks.
