OH YES you are still in His arms, He love you and is with you always, we all have thing that bring us down, but the blood of Jesus covers all sins,
God looks at us through the blood of Jesus and all he see is us in white robes, pure and righteous.
Road rage still affect me after almost 30 years, but I have stopped pulling people out of their cars, so i am getting better.
let God work in your life, and he will make the changes that are important to him. look back at where you come from and you will see that you are growing, and remember that God loves you just like you are.

Hi there. The main problem is that most of us are not honest about our lives outside of our church fellowship walls. You are not alone. I am in love with addictive behavior. I love to have at least one on-line computer game and I just started back smoking after a year and a half without cigarettes. This is our flesh. Paul clearly outlines this in Romans 6,7,8. My questions to you are simple. Do you love Jesus? Do you accept Christ finished work on the Cross? If so then we lay our flesh at the foot of the cross and drive on toward Heaven. Keep these issues in prayer and stay honest. Walk after the spirit and I will see you when we get home to Heaven sis.

May the Lord richly bless you.

Yes, there's hope. Your alive there's always hope.
Every human feels this, no matter their faith/religion. Self image is hardest to improve upon - because of memories. But if you remove the memories you are a different person. Habits are connected to our emotions so if your happy swearing chances are it will be hard to stop, so I work at reducing and controlling, knowing full well if alone I'll swear like a sailor, because I still am in spirit. (Over the years I swear less and less.)

I would hope you focus on being nicer to yourself first, remember you are special, and then change will be easier, and stick. Any time you slip - is not a time to insult yourself over, it's just a slip, and it reminds you about how far you have changed.

Yes Sandie there is hope for you,

None of us are perfect, believe me I'm not either. I would just keep striving to be the best person I could be and maybe make a list of things that I can improve on like the bad language and impatientness. As you improve in an area move to another area that you are weak in and before you know it you will be a better person. That is what makes us better. God looks at the heart of a person, not the actions that we do, so don't look down on yourself. God know that your heart is in the right place.

Sandie, you're completely and wonderfully human. If you believe and you're comforted by that belief than it's all that matters. All those things you mentioned (with the possible exception of road rage if you run someone over) are harmless exertions of humanity. God understands that you're human - I mean you believe he made you in his image right? Don't let some random person tell you that you're not a good person of your faith just because you choose colorful language or hate to wait. If that was true there'd be a LOT less clergy around than you think there might be.

Romans 3:23 - For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.

You sin, because we all have the sin nature in us. None of us could get to Heaven on our own because of this.

Tit 3:5 not by works done in righteousness, which we did ourselves, but according to his mercy he saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit

When you sin, God wants to forgive you for that sin, more than you want to confess that sin. That sin is already paid for with Christ's prescious blood.

Talk to God about it, tell him that you are having some problems with a certain sin, and ask for his strength.

I am so glad that Jesus died for me, I would be doomed. I struggle with the exact same sins that you listed. I'm so glad that God is a forgiving God.

I hope you have a great week, I have a lot of things to work on myself, he's still working on me.

There is plenty of hope for you. First, you are aware of your sins. Second, you know that Jesus is your Savior.

You are a work in progress. Over time--over the years--you will learn to conquer at least some sins. However, you will not be perfect--impeccably perfect--until you stand before God in Heaven.

God loves you, and there's no condemnation for those who are in Christ. Nothing can separate you from God's love. (See Romans 8.) So enjoy your love relationship with God, confident that he is your father and you are his son/daughter for life and beyond. When you do wrong, ask forgiveness of God and of anyone you've hurt, and don't forget to forgive yourself.

Once you're saved you are to become a new creation in Christ Jesus, not go back to your old ways. You are relying on your strength to break the habits, and that's not working so far. Let Jesus do what He does best--cleanse all unrighteousness from you. I know we are not perfect, but in Christ Jesus we are. Allow Him to take full control; not limit Him by letting Him have control on some part of your life.

First of all there is no sin Jesus cannot forgive. If your the worst sinner in the world he will forgive you. We must ask forgiveness and try to sin no more.In our Catholic faith we go to confession. We all have our faults and we must work on them daily. Also remember the good that you do, You seem like such a nice person. God Bless!

There is always hope for us. The key is that you have to not only recognize where your weaknesses are, but to work on them. I'm not saying be prefect cuz that just won't happen, but you do have to make an effort.

If I might suggest, take one thing at a time. Start with something like the road rage and work on lessening that. Keep praying, keep asking for strength and guidance, and keep doing your part to be more Christ-like. It's not easy, but it is worth it.
