How do I "talk" to my Spirit Guide with a pendulum?

Question

I found out how to talk to my Spirit Guide with a pendulum, the problem is I can only ask "yes" or "no" questions. How do I talk to my spirit guide another way so I can ask what it's name is and things?

Oh!! One more thing. Please answer this question as soon as possible!!

Before you go to sleep, talk to your guide and ask him/her to come to you in a dream. I did this and my guide came to me in a dream, down a long flight of stairs where I stood at the bottom. I asked, 'Are you him? Who are you?' He answered yes and told me his name. I was afraid to look in his face. He was so tall and formidable. He is a kind entity.

I read something like this in _the Book of Ordinary Oracles_, by Lon DuQuette. Funny story. He was asking a spirit its name, using a pendulum and scrabble tiles. He had the tiles all turned upside down and would hold the pendulum over each one asking, "is this a letter in your name?" When he turned over the tiles, it spelled "PHOCU," which was a joke the spirit was playing on him. It's name was actually POCUH, pronounced "Pooka," but for some reason it wanted to tell him off first.

Use the pendulum to find the letters in its name, then use the pendulum to put the letters in the right order. Be warned, though, these spirits sometimes have a puckish sense of humor.

You can ask "yes" "no" questions, going through the alphabet or with numbers. For instance, ask "Does the first letter of my spirit guides name start with "A", or "Does my spirit guide's name have five letters in it?"

We used this method to find out the name of our fourth child - what God wanted us to call him. I got the weird answer that his first name should have 10 or 11 letters! I was just new at using the pendulum, so I thought, "That's rubbish, " and gave up. I didn't tell my husband what I had done, but then I asked him to find out how many letters the name should have.... guess what number he came up with? 11.

So we have named our little baby Llewellyn Jeffrey Myrrden... Poor kid, lol. But that is WHO he is, and I love that his name has special meaning, to help him know what his true nature is.

Good luck! Remember, always pray before you start, for Heavenly Father to guide you and protect you from any evil influence, then you will know that you answer you are getting is from Him and not a negative entity.

P.S. I have just realised that there are not 11 letters in Llewellyn... I must have remembered the numbers wrong, lol. Hubby just told me that it was 9, not 11.

I don't know what people teach about this and Spirit Guides. I do know what a pendulum can be used for. It is a way of testing your ability to go into a hypnotic trance and can be used by some as a way to communicate with your subconscious mind. Your Spirit Guide is just your higher self and accessible through your subconscious. If it isn't you are getting in touch with something evil.

No offense to Christanity and such but to them practically everything is demons. Spirit guides are spirits who guide and love you. It depends on who you ask, I would find the truth for yourself without the lovely yahoo answers. Spirtuallity is about finding stuff on your own. Ps. Just like guardian angels
