No. Sadly, I'd say it's a brilliant move on their part. They need oil (they've completely mismanaged their own state run oil) and knowing America's lack of patience (demand for instant success), this is perfect! It undermines everything the U.S. lead coalition has done to date. If they keep up the current course, they will "win" by default. The U.S. will close up shop and go home (as they did in Vietnam) and they can just step in and take over -- with or without invitation. Absolutely brilliant. And then, the icing on the cake is to get others to shed their blood for you. Patton said it best when addressing the U.S. 3d Army in '44 before stepping off into France after the D-Day Invasion, "You don't win wars by dying for your country. You win them, by making the other poor, dumb bastard die for HIS!!!"

Perhaps you're aware of something new that I'm not? I'd like to know. Last I was aware, Gen. Peter Pace, chairman of the Joint Chefs of Staff, said regarding roadside bombs that contained material made in in Iran: "That does not translate that the Iranian government per se, for sure, is directly involved in doing this." You've gotten some excellent answers as to the "game playing" of this country. One more thing from Foreign Ministry spokesman Mohammad Ali Hosseini: "Such accusations cannot be relied upon or presented as evidence. The United States has a long history in fabricating evidence." Does this ring any bells?

YOU think they are cowards, what have you done?

They are not supplying the "insurgents" they are Sunni,
They are supplying the Shiite Militias, which usually don't attack unless provoked.

Iran Fought a ten year war with Sadaam Hussien while we supplied Iraq with WMDs to kill Iranian Soldiers. They lost one million men.

Iran was fighting the Taliban in Afghanistan before we were.

We are supplying Baluchi Terrorists to attack inside Iran

Not. I do not believe either that the Americans are a cowards' bunch for doing a stream of weapon all over the world. This is detestable of both sides.

vampire13r is more or less correct.

Iran is playing a very crafty game. If anything is to be said about them, it is that they are professionals when it comes to using violence without raising the stakes.
