I am a Mexican citizen. In the 90's I lived in Argentina and back then I was stupid and comited a crime for which I was sentenced to several year that I served and got released. Now I am happily married and living in Dominican Republic. Now I want to get the Dominican citizenship but first I have to sign a document declaring that I have never been arrested or sentenced for any crime in anywhere in the world, and in case that I lie in my declaration and they find out, I can get up to 3 years for lieing in an official document. I know that once I aply for the citizenship, they do a criminal background check throu Interpol. What shoud I do? Do you think that I will apear in Interpol's database?

Any person who has been arrested & served a sentence for any offence any where in the world is a free person after serving the sentence for the offence, this is the basic principle of the Criminal Jurisprudence. All records relating to the offender & sentence served by him/her are always kept intact where ever such an offender was apprehended, punished & served any sentence. The Interpol can always check these records. Hence if you make any wrong declaration regarding the offence, punishment & the sentence you served it will go against you & you can face charges of making wrong declaration or hiding the facts with regards to this. So the best course for you is to check the provision which relates to the Citizenship of Dominican Republic, what it says about any person who has been charged, punished & served sentence with regards to any offence in any country, if such a person completely debarred from getting the citizenship or some other conditions are imposed like getting a bond singed of good behavior or some thing like this, on him while deciding the question of citizenship. I doubt very much that any country will impose blank ban/bar on his being granted citizenship as that will amount to infringement of Human Rights, no doubt imposing of certain conditions can always be there but complete ban/bar is not understood. So best course is to check out this with the local government department with regards to this, but for God sake don't make any incorrect declaration even if you don't get the citizenship of the country, another wrong will not make you right rather put you in more trouble.

Get a No Cost Background Check Scan at https://bitly.im/aOhNC

Its a sensible way to start. The site allows you to do a no cost scan simply to find out if any sort of data is in existence. A smaller analysis is done without cost. To get a detailed report its a modest payment.

You may not realize how many good reasons there are to try and find out more about the people around you. After all, whether you're talking about new friends, employees, doctors, caretakers for elderly family members, or even significant others, you, as a citizen, have a right to know whether the people you surround yourself with are who they say they are. This goes double in any situation that involves your children, which not only includes teachers and babysitters, but also scout masters, little league coaches and others. Bottom line, if you want to find out more about someone, you should perform a background check.

I just tried https://webmd.im/verispy last year to see if I could Locate my birth-father. My bio father left me when I was 7, and has refused to be a part of my life since. I grew up with my bio Mother and Step-father. I have only ever talked to my biological father a couple times until now. All I knew of him personally when I conducted the search was his first name, last name, and the street address of a previous address he used to have.

When the search results came back based on the minimal info I had, It pulled up a recent address along with even a phone number. When I called the phone no., I heard the voice of what sounded like it may be my step-brother. I asked if Joseph(my biological dad) was there, and he said no but to try back after 5.

I haven't done anything with the info, But I found what I was wanting to have.

According to your own statements; you do not qualify for Dominican citizenship. You can talk to the immigration authorities in the Dominican Republic to find out if there are any exceptions to the policy. Do you really want to lie and perhaps spent 3 years in a Dominican prison?

Your fears are ill founded !.Verification by police and finding a name in their records does not mean that we are criminals. For example,if you give a police report that you have lost your baggage, your information is stored in their data base. Does this in any way affect you ???

You should tell the truth, because they will definitely do a background check. But they will not deny citizenship nor have any problems whatsoever, since you already paid your time.

Chances are, the offense will show up, especially if you had to serve a good amount of time for it. Don't lie about it!
