No that is not true but I wouldn't play with them just handle them.I would wait until their eyes are open to play with them. Handling them will not kill them!!!

This can depend on how well mum excepts the pups being handled. To much handling can make a mum dog reject her puppies or she will try and relocate them to a quieter place. I would keep the handling down to a minimum until they are about 2-3 weeks of age. Remember they are very delicate as new borns and should be handled gently. Heavy handling or dropping of a pup could kill it.

Only one person should be handling the newborns. They won't die unless you squeeze them to tightly or drop them. You should never play with newborns. Only one person, after sterilizing their hands should handle the puppies. Every day or every other day they should be check and weighed. Weighing them gives you an idea that they are gaining weight as they should. After a few weeks old you can start holding puppies..Right now mommy wants to take care of them and making sure they are safe is her job if she thinks you are bothering her babies to much she might hide them on you. Just wait until they are older before you start playing with them.

The pups mum must have time to bond so that she doesn't reject the pup. If they are feeding from her and she seems to be coping then it is a good idea to start handling the pups, gently and not for too long..if mum becomes anxious give them back.

Yes it is but this MAY NOT allways happen if they are just a few weeks old then you shouldnt handel them that much.

I know it is hard not to touch them or cuddel them but they MAY die but not allways.

if every kid in the neiborhood swarms over them squeezing, shaking, dropping, never letting them time to eat or sleep- yes...
If a calm individual with a good relationship with the mom picks one up for 30 seconds "oh cute pupy let me tickle your belly - ok back to mom" then no

probably not, but if they are too small and your not carefull, then they might die.so dont let small children handle them.also its best not to play with them too much because their mother might not take them, and they need their mother's milk for their first 29 days. good luck

Only if you use them for batting practice. They ALMOST always die then.
