the best way to take care of your neck problem is to see a qualified massage therapist or a chiropractor. Either one of these will work on your neck and relax the muscles. I've enclosed a link so you can find a qualified chiropractor in your area.

For the enlarged lymph nodes I recommend you put hot towels or a heating pad on this area for twenty minutes. Afterwards massage downwards using Vic's vapor rub. This will help release the toxins.

Muscle strain can last months. Enlarged lymph nodes, see your doctor, that could be a symptom of infection in your body. Lump on back, is it where your neck and body meet? Nothing to worry there.
