I believe faith can heal. Placebos have proved this in medicine, but as for faith healers? Maybe they can help promote well-being, but I don't think they could help someone without faith in the first place!!

No, it is not a Bible teaching, mostly just a Pentacostal perversion. If you think it works just go looking for someone who has been genuinely healed. Even faith healers are not able to produce documentation for people who they have healed. Several programs like 60 Minutes have done very excellent studies on most of the major healers and found them to be phonies. Benny Hinn is one of the worst.

I think most so called faith healers represent the belief that that they are not the healer but God himself. Yet most people still like to refer to them as faith healer. That being said I believe that there are those who have acted wit integrity and those who haven't. I believe there have been some documented cases of people being healed, but I still think it is acceptable to question the legitimacy and exercises caution. I am not aware of anyone telling people to stop any prescribed treatments but this is a possible danger. Unfortunately no manner of proof furnished will suffice these who have simply come to an a- priori commitment to disbelief.

No - I am a scientist and I don't believe in faith healers or black magic or even African witchcraft! Also, you will be wise not to talk about religion with me!!

No, they're all con merchants.

Anyone who tries to make you believe something and isn't able to back up their claims with evidence is a conman.

The old excuse of "we can't show you proof, you have to have 'faith'" just doesn't cut the mustard these days....only on the gullible.

"YES".
M't:7:15: Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
M't:7:16: Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
M't:7:17: Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
M't:7:18: A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
M't:7:19: Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
M't:7:20: Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

Many are healed
M't:15:29: And Jesus departed from thence, and came nigh unto the sea of Galilee; and went up into a mountain, and sat down there.
M't:15:30: And great multitudes came unto him, having with them those that were lame, blind, dumb, maimed, and many others, and cast them down at Jesus' feet; and he healed them:
M't:15:31: Insomuch that the multitude wondered, when they saw the dumb to speak, the maimed to be whole, the lame to walk, and the blind to see: and they glorified the God of Israel.
WHEN SOMEONE IS DOING GODS WORK,HE WILL DO IT
IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST. GOD BLESS

Yes and No. I believe that some of them have the power to do that, but some are fakes just trying to make money. It's like a lot of things. Some people can actually do it and some are just scams.

I believe all followers of Jesus have the power to cast out sickness in His name, because the Bible says they do, and I've done it myself.
