Inner beauty my darling - that's the most important!
"Yah, yah" you're probably saying, LOL. I understand the pressures of having a bikini body...I have a few ideas for you:
1. Cardio! Anytime you're trying to burn fat, cardio is the BEST. If you have access to an Elliptical Machine, it works magic. After 2 months your legs will be super toned. If you don't have access to an Elliptical, walking/jogging or running will tone you up just as well - plus you'll get a tan from working out outside. :-)
2. Lunges - these work very well. Stand with your feet hip-width apart. Step forward and bend both knees until your right thigh is parallel to the floor. Be sure to keep your right knee in line with your right toes. Hold for about three seconds and return to the starting position. Repeat with your left leg. Try to do 10 reps and work up from there. (one move on each leg counts as one repetition).
3. Seated Leg Raises. Sit in a chair and rest your feet on the floor with your knees bent at 90-degree angles. Rest your hands on the chair at your sides. Exhale and extend your right leg, hold it for about 30 seconds and breathe. Then inhale and lower your right leg and exhale as you repeat with your left leg. Hold for 30 seconds and breath normally.
4. Bridges - These are good! Sit on the edge of a chair. Rest your feet on the floor with your knees bent at 90-degree angles. Rest your palms on the chair at your sides. Exhale and lift your hips, making your palms and feet support your body weight. Lift your hips until your body resembles the shape of a bridge. Hold for 20 to 60 seconds (as long as you can!) and remember to breath. Release it and return to the starting position.
5. Squats! You'll need weights for these and they are tough, but you'll feel it right away. I shouldn't give you weight lifting advice so I'll refer to you a better site:

There isn't a quick way to lose weight from a specific area of your body. You have to lose overall weight and hope that some fat comes off of your thighs. Try eating 1200 calories a day. Also, make sure you do some form of physical activity daily. Try aerobics, kick boxing, or just going for jog. Good luck!

how about just a simple 10-15 minute run? start slow and do it faster and faster every day. runners have the thinnest legs, but just make sure u set reasonable goals for yourself so u dont hav 2 keep beating urself up 4 not finishing. set good, challenging goals- but not to the point of excruciating pain. i have large thighs, too- most women are larger in the thigh and/or hip area, so its completely natural- good luck w/ur running goals- its really not hard, and if u can find a partner to do it w/u, it turns out to be relaxing, stress-relieving, and enjoyable.

you cant choose which body part to lose the weight off - it has to be overall weight loss. your thighs are one place your body likes to keep its fat reserves.
find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried - no junk food.

Love who you are. Wear your bikini. Europe is not the US. People there tend to have a realistic view of anatomy.

there is no such thing as spot treatment, inless you get lipo
just change your diet to a healthy one, and do alot of squats and ther thigh-exercises
just to warn you, you are not going to see sudden results.
large thighs are also hereditary, so you won't be able to make them model-skinny no matte rhow hard you try
all you can do is get them toned
also keep in mind that we are our hardest critics, so flaws you see in yourself others don't even see them
