I am a Mexican American, I have some white friends, but mostly mexican.
They are just the same as other people, they have their good things, and their bad things too.
Mexicans are more laid back, and social
White persons are very into their group, I've seen this in college so many times, if there is a class where 20 are latinos and 5 are white, the 5 white persons get together and don't talk to the rest 20.
we just don't give a f.u.ck
some white persons are kind and nice
but some mexicans are very hypocrite, love to gossip
is like everyone else

I look at a mexican everytime i look in the mirror. So yeah I know a few of them, mainly all relatives. And just like someone on here said there are good and evil mexican people. What i don't understand is why someone would choose to bunch them all into the same category. I came into this country illegally along with my family and at least in my eyes i feel i have contributed no less than someone who was born in this country. And feel just like myself there are a lot of other hard working people who if given the chance to fix their lega status they would be great american citizens. And yet everyone wishes to classify them all as being abusers of the welfare system and the cause of all their problems because of the simple fact they are illegal.

Are we speaking of Mexican Mexicans here, or Mexican Americans? I know both. I go to Mexico, and I live in Southern California with a lot of Americans who are descended from Mexicans. Some are recent immigrants. On an individual basis I assume they are here legally. On a statistical basis, reviewing government material and the LAUSD school system, I know that a huge number of non-English speaking students in our overcrowded, ESL over-impacted schools would not be here if their parents did not come illegally.

Their children are not more important than our own, and our schools are failing. We have very good reasons for our immigration limits.

I was raised in SE New Mexico. I know a lot and have had to work with them for years. I have no objection to them being here if they are here legally. Otherwise they are criminals and we have enough of our own we do not need others.

Also Mexican is a nationality not a race, just like American.

Let's say I break into your house. Let's say that when you discover me in your house, you insist that I leave. But I say, "I've made all the beds and washed the dishes and did the laundry and swept the floors; I've done all the things you don't like to do. I'm hardworking and honest (except for when I broke into your house). According to the protesters, not only must you let me stay, you must add me to your family's insurance plan, educate my kids, and provide other benefits to me and to my family (my husband will do your yard work because he too is hard-working and honest, except for that breaking in part). If you try to call the police or force me out, I will call my friends who will picket your house carrying signs that proclaim my right to be there. It's only fair, after all, because you have a nicer house than I do, and I'm just trying to better myself. I'm hardworking and honest, um, except for well, you know. And what a deal it is for me! I live in your house, contributing only a fraction of the cost of my keep, and there is nothing you can do about it without being accused of selfishness, prejudice and being an anti-housebreaker. Oh yeah, and I want you to learn my language so you can communicate with me. Sound a little bit off the mark??

I have yet to see more than 1 or 2 people that are opposed to immigration So your question is flawed
By the way ILLEGAL is not a race.
Your whole question is racist
Those that use the race card only do so from lack of facts and reason behind their point of view
I however see 80 or 90% that are opposed to ILLEGAL ALIENS and ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION
I myself know dozens of Mexicans as I am in AZ

For most of us it's not that the Mexicans are good people are not, it's the fact we do not want to have to pay the bill for their care and feeding

I know a lot of Mexican people - ones who were either born in the US or came here legally! Those people, for the most part, feel the same way as I do - if you want to live in the United States you had better get a green card if you want to stay! Enough is enough! Get your green card, learn our language, learn to sing the national anthem in ENGLISH, stop waving your Mexican flags, pay taxes - OR GET OUT!!!!!

I met more of your kind than I wanted to. The only ones I've met worth a lick are Colombians and a few Cubans. Mexicans are a bunch of cowards that only act tough when they have 10 of their buddies on you. Maybe people talk badly about you Mexicans because you aren't good people. Maybe its the fact you invade our nation by the millions and find ways to abuse our social welfare programs. Of course depressing American wages is another thing you do well, along with the fact you have blantantly racist groups like La Raza that aim at returning the border states to Mexico. Go back to your country and keep beheading your police officers.

i know several mexicans which i am good friends with. But i also know illegal is illegal. and i don't care what kind of person you are, or how nice you are, or what your story is.. if you are here illegally in this country you are breaking the law and need to be deported. If you come here legally and are living by the laws of the usa.. then you are more then welcome!!!
