I am sick of it. I am ready to fight it. Maybe it's genes, but i want it to stop. Just two weeks ago i started dieting and excercizing and lost 5 lbs but i want to lose 15, and especially around my lovehandles and tummy area. Everything else is basically normal but my hips and stomach, it drives me crazy! I hate this, my sisters are skinnier than me and I don't want to end up fat, because I am getting close.
HELP.
i need to look good for bathing suit season! All of my friends are twigs and i cannot even compaare to them.

find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried - no junk food.

I've been on the South Beach diet since April of 2006 and have lost 80 lbs total in those 12 months. The first two weeks, I lost 19 lbs. That's on the harsh phase, phase I...but after the first two weeks, you move to Phase II and still lose about 4 lbs a week. And it's extremely healthy eating. You're basically just detoxing your body of all the bad sugars and bad carbs, retraining it to eat the good ones. I'd recommend the SBD to anyone, it saved my life. =) The book is only about 10 bucks in the store, even cheaper if you buy it on Ebay. Best 10 bucks I've ever spent!

go to calorie-counter.com. It will tell you how many calories you should consume a day to lose a specific amount of weight . It also takes into consideration the amout of exercise per week you do. Plus, you can keep a food journal. Any food you eat you type into this site and it will tell you exactly how many calories are in it. It is awesome and should help you lose the weight in a healthy way so that you don't gain it all back when you're through dieting. The trick is to change your lifestyle/ eating habits so that you aren't on a diet but rather are eating healthily.

Before I tell you a good solution- don't compare yourself to other people - know that you are beautiful because you were hand crafted by God! There is no one else in the world like you.

Second, don't fret, I started a great workout called Turbo Jam on beachbody.com. I had twins almost two years ago and wanted to tighten my tummy area back up and within a few weeks....I had tremendous results.

Don't let this just be for looking good, but do it to keep a healthy lifestyle.

Be blessed!

I have the same problem. I just can't seem to get rid of the ten pounds that just get on my nerves....no matter what i do!
if you're really determined, variety in both diet and exercise is key. try eating all vegetarian for a week or so, and try some new activities to keep you moving.
but, dont compare yourself to all your "twig" friends. skinny is not pretty, and feminine curves look waaaaaaaaayyyyyyy better in a bathing suit.

Eat a balanced diet with lots of fresh fruits and veggies. Cut out fast foods and sodas completely. Drink plenty of water. Take a 20 minute walk 3 times a week. While fad diets and starving yourself may take weight off initially, changing your lifestyle permanently is the only real solution.

"Twigs" are not healthy weights.

The best, and only thing, you can do for yourself is eat healthy foods. Try eating 5 to 6 times throughout the day, it helps with your metabolism. And get exercise. Even just a daily walk will help.

If you're not 18 yet, you havent finished growing either. So stop panicing that you are overweight... you arent.

it also helps if you have someone that can do it with you!

If you are a women i recommend Jenny Craig!!! My mother was starting to get a little big so so tried it. I swear it was like the fat just melted away! Also, you should try making time to go to the gym weekly. Set limits for your self(I will work out this much everyday or no sweets at ALL tomorrow) and stick to them!
Good luck! I know you can do it! Just believe in yourself!

dont worry
make sure you are eating ALL of your nutrients
take vitamins
and work out or play a sport
just make sure that you excersize

what ever you do:
DONT STOP EATING!
because once you start again everything you eat instantly turns in to fat because your body thinks that it needs to save up

how much you eat cant effect it that much
I have a friend that weighs 30 lbs less than me
and she eats 3 times more than I

excercise!

good luck!!
