protein supplements are perfectly safe for consumption by all that are healthy. the body can not tell the difference between a protein shake or piece of chicken.

all of the brands that you mentioned are of good quality.

Yes, taking whey protein is safe and actually good for you. As mentioned above, the body cannot differentiate between protein sources. Additionally, most whey sources contain vitamins and minerals, and naturally contain aminos, so all the better (most people don't get enough vitamins/minerals from their normal diet anyway).

The brands you mentioned are good. I personally take Optimum Whey because I like the flavors and it's a solid, reputable source.
