How do I make my faith stronger...I want to be able to know Jesus, and know my God, and be able to ask him for forgiveness, without wondering if I am wrong to ask him for something I did wrong?

I want to be able to love him, and prove his rightousness, but I am not sure where to begin...

Please shed some light on this matter felly Christians

matthew 26: 39-43 Talks about Jesus not wanting the cross and weeping bitterly cuss of it. 3 times he does this, and goes to the deciples and yells at them and says why r u not praying, why r u not seeing,,,,,,,.Cuss of this, that is why the great seeker came up with this with the help of the Lord.

walk in perfection....to tell God not to cry, I am hear to love u.

Romans 3
10. there is none righteous, no, not one.
to me it means he is yelling at u(not me I'm seeking)ex like a class room, none of u here r rightous, no one here is.
in verse 11 he tells why.
11. there is none that understandth , there is NONE that seeketh after God.
in this verse hes saying u can understand God if u seek him. Everyone that I talk to says no one can understand God, why does the bible say I can understand him.
12.They are all gone out of way, they together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, NO,NOT ONE.
in this verse he is telling everyone that they r no good to him, garbage, again he yells at u. So God is calling everyone garbage. How does it feel christians that the lord calls u garbage, maybe u should start to seek, or ask God how to seek.
13. thier throat is an open sepulchre; with there tongues they have used deceit; the poison of asps is under their lips.
verse
14. whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness.
15.their feet are swift to shed blood.
part 2

verse 13-15 means what your ways r, and what the lord thinks of them. Look at your heart r u a cursing person, murderer(hope not) do u lie the poison of the asps.(snake)
16. Destruction and misery are in THEIR ways.
verse 16 means look at your life think of all your suffering, the trials, the scares. This is because u go your own way.
17.and the way of peace have they not known.
verse 17 talks about your life and your soul. Sence u r unprophitable why would God want u into heaven, if U seek his face u can find peace with God. The blood was sent to us because, God loved u and let u in heaven. HE gave u peace this way. But that was not the way God wanted it to happen, even if he planned it that way. Don't forget God had to go from his way, to our way, and save us from our ways.
18. there is no fear of God before their eyes.
no one fears God, all I hear alot from Christians is he loves me, so I'm forgiven. Then still sin. God wants us to fear him, and reconize what he did for us...
part 3

so to sum up, a man can walk perfect in his eyes if u seek his face and learn with understanding his ways to get into heaven. The blood was sent cuss no one seeked his face, God loved the whole world, and exepted there ways. But with a price, his son had to be beaten to death as the perfect sacrafice and rose again, so God would love us. Make us right with him. So walk with the Blood not in it.

faith comes by hearing/ reading the word of God. You are never wrong to ask Him for forgiveness. If you search for God with all your heart you will find HIm. Make sure you have a good church to be active in. God did not intend for you to do it on your own. You can love Him but you also will mess up sometimes so be able to ask for forgiveness. and he will forgive you. this is why you must also forgive others like he forgives you.

I was going through a really hard time recently and I just felt alone. I wanted to be with God but I couldn't feel him. My friend gave me some good advise. He said, "Stop trying so hard, He is still here". I believe we should always try our best as Christians but our best is never good enough. That is why God sent Jesus, he stood in our spot and provided the best. We are God's children and it is never wrong to cry out to him or to ask him for help. God is always there and he is always willing to forgive our sin. Once you ask for forgiveness, believe you have been forgiven and move on. Keep doing your best for the kingdom of God. He uses our efforts to create great accomplishments.

...Here a few suggestions:
...1. Romans 10:17 - "Faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ." Spending time in God's word will cause your faith to grow.
...2. James 1:22 - "But prove yourselves doers of the word, and not merely hearers who delude themselves." (Do what you know you should be doing, and you will be better off than one who knows the whole Bible, and is disobedient to it).
...3 1 Peter 2:2 like newborn babies, long for the pure milk of the word, so that by it you may grow in respect to salvation,
...4. Matthew 4:4, "Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God." Get into God's word every day.
...5. Pray. Here is one method you can use.
A doration - focusing on God's character
C onfession - of personal sin
T hanksgiving - to God for all things
S upplication, for needs of others and your needs.
...6 Fellowship in a Christ-honoring church, with other believers, where you can love and encourage each other.
...7. Witness to others, as God gives you chances. Ask Him for chances.

You're never wrong to ask God for anything. The worst he can say is 'no'! But he never says no to someone asking for forgiveness. To make your faith stronger, I recommend spending time every day with God. Read the Bible, talk to God, just build the relationship.

It can't be wrong to ask God for forgiveness for our wrongs. He is very willing to forgive us, but we should try our best not to commit that same sin again. Living a Christian life is living by faith. Faith that He does exist, Faith that He is going to always be by our side, not matter what. Faith that He knows what is best for us. He always answers our prayers, but sometimes He says No to our request, or Wait, maybe later. We always hope He answers our prayers the way we want Him to, but again, He does what is best for us, just like we do our children. Just remember that God will never leave us. May you grown daily in your Christian life.

the best way to get closer to God is through the bible. I have heard the bible described as God's love letters to us. If someone were to write you a love letter, wouldn't you read it? Most of us would read it several times and would return to it when we are having an especailly hard time in our life. I believe that the best way to grow close to God is though reading his "love letter" to us everyday. He has so much to teach us and so much to tell us, we just have to listen. If you are a new christian I suggest you get plugged into a good church if you are not in one already. Fellowship (fellyship? lol) is an important role in our faith. The bible says, We are the salt of the earth and there for we must rely on others "salt" to help us grow spirtually. Go to church on Sundays, Wednesdays, get into a bible study group. I would highly reccomend that you buy several different bibles. Buy "the Book" version, by a child's bible, buy King james versions and NIV's. Have serveral different refferences so you can compare their meanings and understand better. Go to the Lord each day through prayer. Talk to him. Ask him for forgivenes and to help you grow closer to him in your own life. I hope that this helps you grow close to your savior.

join a bible or study group at your local church(which ever denomination you prescribe to: watch out for the fundamentalist born agains they are a little skewed in there "views" there are more "your going to hell" then "love thy neighbor and God")
But joining a group at your church or starting one. Personal prayer is the best way to improve and understand your personal relationship with God.

If you're happy, then good for you, so long as you are not in favor of restricting the rights and freedoms of others.

But you will find that no one can prove the existence of a god, let alone that particular god's attributes (such as "righteousness"), so don't get your hopes up there.

God loves you. If you have asked His forgiveness, you have it. Believe that you are His and just talk to Him.
