iam almost 13 and i really want my belly button pierced for summer. how can i convince my mom to let me ?

In my state it's not legal until you're 18 even if your mom goes with you. It's probably better to wait, why not start looking for great fakes? I've seen body jewelry for belly buttons so they look as if they're pierced but aren't.

Wait until you're 18. If your parents are anything like mine you can't convince them. Besides, no matter how old you look, at 13 you'll seem like a skank if you have a belly button ring. Even if your parents say yes, wait until you're at least 16. You don't want that image. Trust me.

First of all, even if your parents did let you, you have to be ATLEAST 16 to get it done at all in almost any state, without permission it is 18. They will not even touch you if you look younger than 16... Some places even ask for birth certificates! This is because your still developing and your skin is not done growing. You should wait, you may not want it when you get older. I wanted mine done at 12 because Britney Spears had hers done, I waited and my mom was like "when your older" I got it done 1t 15, I was glad I waited because I grew alot and my friends who got theirs done young looked very odd.

She won't let you. I don't know you or her but I know she won't let you.
Don't try to do it yourself. My friend when she was 13 pierced her bellybutton with a sewing needle and got the nastiest infection (but her mom was all omg you're so cool!)
If you really want it done and you don't care what your mom will say, get a permission sheet from Claire's, fill it out and fake your mom's signature.

You can't. Your Mom knows it will make you look like a whoore, and you are too young to keep it clean enough to prevent infection.

I don't know. personally, I don't like belly rings because I am not really skinny.

tell her you will use your own money or help around the house .if you have to tell her you will give her a makeover a really good one too.

ask her if u can get it done,and beg if she says no then just wait! or see if a family memeber or friends mother take u to get it done...good luck!

Tell her that if she doesn't let you get it done professionally that you will do it yourself. Thats how I got my lip pierced! lol!!!
