Hi Edward,
I've been reading a few of the answers to your questions and I think it's upsetting how many are trying to say the Christian/Atheist way is the way to go. Ultimately, the whole topic is rather trivial. I think it's really good that you're dedicating you're life to answer those questions, just the same as I am.
From the Christian perspective: Christ is our saviour, let us all come together and worship. We need to pray and attend church in order for our souls and sins to be forgiven. Atheist people will go to help and are satanic.
From the Atheist perspective: God does not exist.
From the ME perspective: I think that religion has its up points, but it also has its down points. Take any good Christian man and tell him that his wife is cheating on him and his kid is doing drugs and he will immediately seek proof before action. However, when it comes down to it, that same Christian man well defend the bible and his religion until the day he dies without any proof or knowing. However the up points are that christianity and religion in general allows people to come together and focus on bettering themselves, which is great. Ultimately though, I am with you on the fact that it is all very confusing. I believe that religion is people's answers for not knowing for sure. For example, we dont know how we got here, so some people made up religion to fill in the blank. Well I guess you can tell from reading my response that I am too am unreligious. however, if you're unreligious that doesn't meant you're atheist. [course almost all of the yahoo population would beg to differ with me] I think that the word atheist is often given as a bad label.. it's like an accusation when you say you don't believe in god people say ARE YOU ATHEIST?
I really have no idea where I'm going with this, but I guess just understand that you're not alone.

With christians making up 33 % of the inhabitants, accompanied via muslims at 21p.c.and non non secular human beings at sixteen% so that's that that's basically greater statistically probable that christians will lead the fee against atheism by using fact there is greater of them, nevertheless i'm particular the different monotheistic communities arrent silent on the difficulty, this may be an elementary, logical and actual looking answer to you question, yet I want logic and reason over faith any day.

umm, let's see. Think about evolution for a minute. it makes no sense, If only the strongest survived why do we still have apes? and How in the world do you get ORDER from CHAOS (the big bang theory) Makes no sense to me. Whereas the Bible on the otherhand is more convincing. Ask yourself this question- Would you rather really not try or dedicate your life to something that could really be true only to find out in the end it was actually true but now it's too late?

You don't have to be Christian to believe in God, God isn't limited to any one man made religion. God is everyone and in all things, including you:)
But you can only decide what is true for you and live your own Truth. God isn't about forcing people to do this or that, we all have to walk our own paths. We all go back to the Source we came from and when you go back to God, you can review this lifetime for yourself and see if it served you well on your journey of further evolution of the soul. No right or wrongs, only choices. You decide what is best for you. Best wishes on your journey.

It's the classic good versus evil fight going on in your mind.
It's very natural I'm finding out to go from one extreme to the other each day.
As you explore your spirituality and such you will continue to form opinions about each whether for or against the proving of whether god does truly exist.
Only you can learn to be comfortable with yourself and your beliefs.
I currently am at a similar spot in my beliefs and life.
It's definitely confusing but I'm noticing that i am becoming more comfortable with myself as i learn more how to form my own opinions and beliefs and have more confidence too.
hope this brings some comfort and ease.

In Mark Chapter 9:14-24, a man had brought his son to Jesus to be healed of demonic possession. Jesus' disciples could not heal the boy. Jesus told the man, that everything is possible for him who believes. Immediately the boy's father exclaimed, "I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief!"
So, even when Jesus was there, in front of him, the man had doubts.
Because we are human, sometimes our faith becomes weak. It is our job as Christians, to pray and ask God to renew our faith daily. He does. God bless.

I am a Christian. Now, sometimes i doubt my faith, but i always realize that Christianity is the way to go. I don't want to push you too much on what to believe in, but i believe the bible 100%! First, decide on the religion you really believe in, join some groups of that religion. Make sure that you pick what you believe in and not what your parents believe. Don't let anyone make the decision for you. Surround yourself with the people from your religion group.
i hope you pick Christianity.
hope i helped
God loves you, follow your heart

It seems like you are having a problem that few Christians have...I think that because you have no visible connection with Christ, you keep the perception that He is not there.
He is there, all the time. I think you need to root yourself in the word of God(the bible) and pray and ask God to give you revelational knowledge of everything that you read. i believe once you get into a prayerful life with God, then he will reveal himself to you in ways that you would have never expected.
God bless you

It seems like your faith isn't that strong. I don't believe that crap about us coming from apes and stuff. Even though our DNA is similar.. i just find it hard to believe. We could have come here from the Big Bang but who knows...only God knows. I will still believe in him because if that theory is true then He definitely had something to do with it. So I say believe what you think is right but I believe in God and no one can tell me other wise. I would rather believe in God and find out that there wasn't one than to not believe in him and find out that He is real.

There's nothing that says you have to choose either. You can go through your entire life not knowing, or caring, and still be a happy, effective, loving, caring, and productive person.
If there is a god, this is probably all he/she/it wants.
If there isn't, then you've lived a good life you can be proud of.
Cool, huh?
