LOL...that's almost funny, Fish.
And it's very obvious that you don't know anything about the Catholic Church - you'd apparently rather cling to your misconceptions.

As I read the Bible the church wasn't organized until the Holy Spirit came and empowered the believers. Pentecost is the birth date of the Church. By that time Jesus Had ascended. As for what is said about the Catholic church in our messages, nothing is said. Most of us have no trouble with anyone who believes that Jesus is God and that by His atoning blood shed for us on the cross through faith in His promises we receive salvation.. From what I know Catholics believe that.... I call those that do believe that, my brothers and my sisters... Jim

i've been a Christian for most of my life, have been attending Baptist churches for the past 36 years, and have never heard the catholic church mentioned in a single sermon...perhaps paranoia i getting the better of you. i have also never seen anything in scripture where Christ established the catholic church-or any other denomination, for that matter...He established His church-which is the body of Christian believers! our pastor preaches on a variety of topics centered on Christ's teachings, lessons to be learned from both old and new testaments, and parallels/contrasts between the ancient and modern worlds...we don't really worry about what other denominations are doing...we are too busy learning about Christ and doing what we can to serve Him and spread the gospel...

Prosperity training isn't incorrect or evil- it really is an evangelical device to win souls. God will bless early Christians with fabric miracles merely as God will enable deliverance from the international, and sin, and hopelessness. finished ministries matter on asking God for miracles of funds, and back and back God comes by. examine bypass and the Switchblade. the worry is the preachers which have offered their faith to prosperity preaching. Benny lost me from his church even as he began speaking about his seven-hundred greenback tournament and his 5000 greenback watch and pleasing vehicles and houses he has because God loves him- and that i might want to have it, too. A extra mature Christian needs to seek salvation and be seated satisfied interior of it..... frustrating subject yet sure, some are turning out to be over excited.

I don't hate the Catholic Church, I just don't have any use for them. I visited one and was told I couldn't participate in communion because I wasn't Catholic. I was a minister at the time on vacation. I wouldn't set foot in a Catholic church because they apparently have never read the Bible.

My pastor preaches a sermon over some scriptures and then gives us things to ponder.
