I have done all that I can. I have accepted Jesus as my Master in my heart, I have taken my medication for my nervous disability, I have said my prayers, I have philsophized as deep as possible within my soul, I have loved and I have asked forgiveness. But still seep down inside there is a big deep emptiness and fear that just wont go away. I'm doomed I think. And in truth I am almost giving up all hope. I keep trying to hang on but its as if Jesus and evryone just is not listening. I give up.

I don't know your problems, but if you did everything to feel better, you prayed, you believed, you forgave and asked to be forgiven, and yet don't feel good, there is one more thing you can do, which is accept your problems as a way to grow, and to learn. Every time I face something that I don't understand, I pray that God helps me learn the lesson I have to learn... and He does. In your prayers, say these words: "I know I am not alone, I know there is protection, I know I have friends in the Spiritual World trying to help me. Thank you Jesus for sending my Spiritual friends to help me!" Just close your eyes and picture a white light involving you, and feel the love coming from the Spirits that want to help you.

If you want, email me. I'll be glad to help you.

Peace!

Christianity isn't supposed to make you "feel better." What it does mean is that you belong to God. Look at Paul's "thorn in the flesh," suffering does not just go away once you accept Christ. God's people do suffer, it's all throughout the Bible. You do the best you can with it. It's not the devil, it's not a test, it's just life. Stay on the meds and love the Lord.

St John of the Cross talked about the Dark Night of the Soul. It takes a lot more faith to hold on when you are in the Dark Night than it does when you are on an emotional high with God. Hang in there. God loves you. He is going through the suffereing with you right now.

No.
If you are saved..you are saved. You are not doomed.
I don't know your whole situation but...if you are ill.. some medications have a bad effect on mood. Some meds give bad dreams, and some can make you feel hopeless..so look into that.
Get to a good church that believes in deliverance and prayer and ask for prayer to break that stronghold over your mind.
You will be ok then.

If you truly study Jesus words and want to be like him you need to read the bible everyday and learn how Jesus lived and how he wants you to live. As soon as you start following his example you will become humble and just learn to let go of all of your problems and let God handle them for you then you won't be weighed down with worry and you will be much happier once you put the Bibles principles to use in your life about how God wants you to live. Also pray for God to send his Holy spirit to you because he is a comforter and will help point you in the right dirrection.

Embrace the gift of each day!!!!! stop looking within for fulfillment, instead start acting if ways that bring joy, gratitude, thanks and hope into the lives of the people you met every day. Find Jesus in the people you have around you and learn to love him there and in time you will discover that that empty hole was just boredom with a life not full of compassion and caring for others.

I felt the same way durring my depression. It is hard. We all go through hard times. My family felt abandoned when my dad fell off the roof. I'll tell you what my mom told me. "We all have crosses to bear. Some are larger than others." Remember Jesus' words. You will be rewarded in heaven. The last will be first. Those who suffer now will be rewarded in heaven. Don't give up hope. Life gets better.

Nobody promised you a life without suffering. Suffering is the result of original sin. When Jesus saved us from sin, He did not save us from the shadow of sin (suffering). That will end when we are glorified in Christ. Don't give up or give in. Some day you will overcome suffering if you finish the course.

It sounds like you are depressed!! What kind of medication are you on for your "nervous disablity?" It might be that you are not responding well to it! I have PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder) and my doctors TRIED to give me anti-depressants but because of MY body chemistry, the medications sent me in the OPPOSITE direction and actually made everything that much WORSE! (in fact it was BECAUSE of the paxil that they put me on that I attempted suicide about 8 yrs ago.. but once it was out of my system and the chemicals in my brain were CORRECTLY treated things got a LOT better!!) Maybe talk to your doctor and try a differant medication!!

It also sounds like you are under some sort of "spiritual attack" as well!! You are trying to live the best life you can and STILL feel as though you are not doing enough!! Keep in mind that God loves you for YOU. HE KNOWS what is in your heart and soul! You dont HAVE to prove it to him!!

Things seems hopeless for you right now but dont worry it WILL get better!!! Just keep your faith and your strength and keep trying to do the best you can and be the best person that you can!! You WILL be rewarded for it (although it may not be on YOUR time table!)

Keep telling yourself, "I am a GOOD person! I have a GOOD heart! I am TRYING the best I know how! I WILL be LOVED! I will be APPRECIATED! I WILL be CHERISHED!!" And believe it all!! Start believing in YOURSELF and others will begin to believe in you too!! Dont worry... it WILL all work out, it just may take time!!

Talk to a therapist (just talking helps a LOT) and make sure to find one that fits YOU! Finding a therapist is a very PERSONAL thing. You need to make sure that it is someone that you feel COMFORTABLE around, someone you can be yourself with and someone whom you dont feel is judgeing you and is on YOUR side! If you dont feel that way with one therapist then find a new one and keep looking until you find the one who is RIGHT for YOU!! And again... think about switching your meds.. like I said, the one you are on just may not be right for you!!

Take care and remember that you WILL be happy again one day.. just dont lose heart!!

IT is a spiritual war.

The more you are disheartened, the more that you encourage the enemy to press the battle so you give in and give up.

Call upon GOD to increase HIS GOOD FORCES to fight for you.

Stand on THE WORDS OF GOD and refuse to believe anything else.

Take on THE ATTITUDE OF VICTORY over the enemy, even if and when you do not see it.

Faith in THE LORD GOD's VICTORY is not by feelings or sight.

FAITH IS THE SUBSTANCE OF THINGS HOPED FOR THE EVIDENCE OF THINGS NOT SEEN.

Do not even think negative thoughts of defeat or despair. You only encourage demonic forces to continue pushing your hot buttons.

THEY KNOW WHAT YOU THINK >>> so stop giving them ammo to use against you.

Stay in the words of JESUS and stand on them.

JESUS bless you !!!!!!!
