You need a court to tell you to have your children more often?.......ninety miles isn't anything, they're your children as well, of course you should have them every other week.......trust me your children will soon be grown.....take every minute you can with them, because once those minutes have gone.........there's never ever getting them back again.
Don't let your kids grow up with the knowledge that you only wanted them once every 4 to 6 weeks........stop being so selfish, you'll regret this one day........

The courts usually try to work out what's best for both parents, but they can put into place whatever order they feel is best for the children.
You should consult with your lawyer...you might be able to negotiate on this issue.
For instance, if she wants you to see them more frequently (and I would assume you want to see them except the distance being a problem), maybe she could drive them to your house and then you could return them to her house at the end of the time (or vice versa) thus cutting your driving time down? Or possibly you could find somewhere in the middle to meet? Maybe meet at a McDonald's somewhere an equal drive for both of you?

I don't think that any Court can make you to see your children more often. The only think Court can make you do for your children, is to pay Child Support.

Surely you should be dying to see your children, my dad used to have to go away for months at a time for work, it hurts to see parents go away, even more then anyone thinks. You are a parent and so step up. What is more important in your life, be fair to them it is ripping them apart no doubt. Hope you can sort out a good answer for you.

My friends ex lives 150 miles away and she meets him every second weekend on a friday and then a sunday.
If you work weekends then they will take that into account but why are you so worried? You should love having your children with you.

They are your children you should want them every single day of your life, no matter how far away they live. You brought them into the world it is your responsibility to look after and provide for them.

A court will act in the childs best interest not in you or your ex's. I cannot see how it would be in the interest of a child to be forced on a parent that doesn't want them.

The court probably won't tell you, but they grow up really fast and you can't get that time back.
Can each of you drive half way. I know I wouldn't want to be away from my kids that long

Excluding any mitigating circumstances, the court can only suggest that you see them more often. I would suspect your ex has an ulterior motive.

They sure can. They can do whatever is deemed to be in the best interests of the child.
