I'm 15 years old. I eat very healthy, I'm a vegetarian. I only eat whole grains. I don't drink sodas. Every Tuesday and Thursday I do Physical Training with ROTC. We do 25 pushups, 40 situps, and we run a mile. My best time is 10:30. It seems that I am doing everything right, but I'm not losing any weight. It doesn't seem like I am shrinking at all. I am about 5' 7" and I weigh roughly 151 pounds. It's quite embarrasing, but I'm trying so hard, but getting nowhere. Please help!

the only way to lose fat is by doing cardio. situps and pushups only build muscle which makes those areas look even bigger since there is more muscle underneath the layer of fat.
find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried - no junk food.

Don't worry so much about it! You're ONLY 15 and do moderate exercise a week, plus you eat healthy. Depending on your body frame, it sounds like you are at your ideal weight for your height (according to the chart I pasted below).
Muscle weighs more than fat, so if you are concerned about not actually seeing pounds shed, that may be why. It's good that you have a routine going now and you can expand on that in the next few years with upping how many times you go and for how long, but for now I think you're good!

Hmm. I don't know. It sounds like your a very healthy person. Keep up doing what you are doing and try running on your own to get better times and improve your stamina and speed. When I was 14 I was big and joined cross country where we ran 3 miles a day. Now I'm a good weight. Hope you get where you want.

It takes time and its sounds like your going in the right direction. Your going to have to work out four times a week .Tuesday & thursday upper body. Monday wednesday lower body. Also going to need to drink lots and lots of water. Don't feel guilty losing weight it harder than building muscle. I have the same problem , I was trying to gain weight so I could build muscle ,but now instead I am now trying to lose weight myself. As I said before it is going to take some time. Your just going to have to work out more. Ok instead of just doing 40 sit ups your going to have to do 100 sit ups every over day. So basically you need to do 100 sit ups every other day.No worries you will reach your goal. Never be embarrased of yourself , You are doing the best you can and it takes time and lots of excercise to lose weight.Never feel ashamed or embarrased. From what I can see you are doing a great job and I admire your motivation. So good luck and hope you reach your goal.

No offense but that is a very slow mile. Speed it up a little! It's not all about weight, try measuring your hips, waist, and see how you're doing. Mix it up with strength training and you can try going to a gym, doing the Elliptical. Running one mile two days a week isn't really that much, to be honest. Try speed-walking or running more often,
