Jesus said, "if you love me you'll keep my commandments". If you love me , "Feed my sheep" We are to be under his authority.
When we want to do something that is outside of his perfect will, and we rationalize and do what our nature tells us and we omit to do what we should. We need to ask our selves. Do we love God.
It took me 30 years to realize that I hadn't.love God. I loved things about him. But to love him with all my heart , soul and mind as he said is to walk in him 24/7
Where do you stand? I'm going to love God!

How awesome ! I am in that same place and am making that same commitment.
If we truly love Him we will obey His commands. And because of His sacrifice , we are free to obey His commands!
It is that simple.

I was wondering one day "Why can't I do what I want to do?"
And it came to me in a flash "Because you don't know"
Which I suddenly understood to mean that I do not know what it is that I do.I don't understand the consequences that are attached to everything I do that is wrong.And I don't even know the difference between right and wrong.
The spiritually dead cannot see for themselves how to live right because they are property of Satan and he blinds them to the truth and keeps them in the dark.Always whispering in their ear ideas and lies which will always lead them to ruin and despair.
If a person listens for too long they will fall deeper and deeper into sin and their lives will become desolate and spoiled.
So I listened to the new voice which slowly and lovingly lead me away from the liar and gently towards himself.
As my eyes were opened I saw everything around me in a whole new light and not only that I understood WHY we have to obey God and do what's right in his eyes.
A good seed produces good fruit but a bad seed only produces weeds.
Sin is a bad seed
To obey and love God is a good seed that when planted will always produce LIFE in abundance.
I cling to God and eventhough I sometimes weaken I stand back up and go to him again.
He is my Father and my Saviour and I need him every minute of every day.The liar is always there waiting for me to make myself vulnerable so he can attack me.
But with Jesus power and might the liar will just have to wait and wait and wait.Because I understand now and I know what it is that I do that's why I only want to live according to Gods nature.
So yes "I love God with all my heart". He picked me up from the darkest depths of despair.He gave me life and love where there wasn't any before.In Christ I am totally forgiven and unconditionally loved.And all I had to do was accept him and love him.

I love God because he does the impossible and He goes beyond what any person could ever do for me. He has kept me alive and well and helps me everyday. I try not to take the things for granted like waking up in the morning because that alarm really doesn't wake us up it's God who wakes us up. He will love me even if I dont love myself. He forgives and gives me more chances to do better I LOVE GOD! Some people think that if something isnt going their way then there isn't a God or He doesn't care about them and He isn't hearing their prayers. I know from experience that it is just a test of faith to see if we really have faith in him and if we really love God for who He is.

I love God. I couldn't make it without him. I try very hard to keep his commandments,If I fall short I quickly ask for forgiveness. It surprised me when I started Yahoo Answers That there are so many people who don't believe in God.

'Love the Lord your God with all your heart...soul...and mind. ... Love your neighbor as yourself. All the Law and the Prophets hang on these ..."

im with you im only 16 so in these teenage years its kindof hard but no matter what satan throws at me im never going to turn from him so many people say that but end up no meaning it but i do mean it God has put such a love for him in my heart that i dont understand why anybody wouldnt want him. but i am so thankfull for those who do choose him. I love God, it really took something bad to happen in my family with one of my children to seek him on a daily basis but I am going to believe in God forever and talk to him regularly!!

Well, no one is perfect and no matter how much we love God, He knew we would fall short and that is why He sent His Son to die for us! No need to feel guilt for wrong doings...confess it to God and move on!
