Theres a bump on the side of my neck.It doesnt hurt or anything but it hasn't gone away in a week; my mom said it was from stress but I'm not sure that's what it is. Should I get it checked or just leave it alone?

when you are anxious or stressed you lymph glands swell up and you get more inclined o getting infections
your lymph glands are concentrated in your neck you axilla and groin
so if there are any swellings the most prominent on would be around your neck
just to make sure an appoinment at the doctors wouldnt go a miss

It's probably a swollen lymph gland, there are lots of those on the side of the neck. Probably harmless, but your mom should take you to the doc in case you have an infection of some sort.

Get it checked by a doctor. It could be anything from a pimple to a goiter. The doc will tell you better than anyone here can.

When my sister was stressed out she had what was like a boil type thing on her neck but it went away. But it can be swollen lymph nodes or something more serious. See a doctor.

Yes ...go get it checked out by your doctor. It could be a lympth glad that is swollen and it could mean infection in some other part of your body ....go now.

U should get it checked, it's never to soon, it could be a bag of fat, or it could be an insect bite, or it could be a tumour.
