no. its healthy (will not as likely to come back) to lose 1-2lbs a week.
find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried - no junk food.

You must not lose any weight, you are fine. Let alone 25 pounds! But even if you were fat, to lose that much weight in 8 weeks would be unhealthy and it would mean that you didn't burn fat, but lean muscle, which will either end up with you being an ugly anorexic skeleton or gain back even more weight. So the best thing to do right now is to exercise. You'll see your body change, you don't need to lose weight but distribute it correctly by exercising.

Proper diet and exercise will increase the amount of muscle on your body, and ensure that there is less fat. This will give you the nice and feminine toned body that you want to develop into. Don't worry about muscle development making you look less feminine... this only occurs with women that use steroids and other hormone enhancements. Your body will look extremely feminine and curvy as your muscles develop from exercise!
If you need assistance with how your should alter your diet, or exercise, then I highly recommend the below program...

Hi Fatima,
How you calculate you need to lose 25 pounds?
I can say that your body knows what is good for it. If you start eating good and do regular exercises, your body will take the perfect shape and form.
Why not try this 1 week diet plan, see results and if you like them, follow the same diet regimen: http://www.100abdominalexercises.com/fast_weight_loss_diet_plan.aspx
Now about exercises, I recorded myself how I do exercises at my apartment, it is nothing special, but exercises are good, I use them almoist every day and they keep me fit. Please don't laugh too much at me :) http://www.women-workout-routines.com/free-workout-routines.html
And one last thing: don't put so difficult tasks to yourself, just eat properly, exercise and enjoy life - your body will feel your inside happiness and you will look great :)
Wish you many nice moments,
Rumi
