there is some evidence to suggest he may have been. Scriptures were found which may suggest that jesus was romantically involved with her.
Also, to back this up, in the bible, there is no mention of Jesus NOT taking a wife which, in his time, would have been very unusual and would have been commented on-which it wasnt.
Some experts think that jesus being married to mary magdalene was covered up to make him appear more holy and divine and that in reality, she wasnt a prostitute and that this was made up to further remove the truth that she was married to jesus.
No-one will ever know for sure though.
