Skydiving itself isn't a moral choice so it would just depend on how he felt at the time.

He wouldn't use a parachute -- he'd just hold his arms out and float, like he does in all those pictures my grandmother used to have in her living room.

As airplanes weren't invented, I doubt it. In addition, nobody had much leisure time in that era, so I doubt he or anybody else would "do sports."
