When we want to get rid of body fat, there is no way to specifically burn fat from one part of the body. Doing situps won't burn the fat that is covering your abs and doing tricep extensions won't get rid of the fat that is covering your triceps. The only thing you can do is lose weight all around and eventually the problem area will also improve. The way to burn fat is through a calorie restricted diet in conjunction with an exercise routine that will burn calories. Activities that burn calories include running, biking, swimming and other high intensity activities.

No joke-this worked for me-I'm 5'1" and all the girls in my family have curvy thighs-not fat, but just thick, even though we are all in shape. Lie on your back with your hands behind your head. lift your head and shoulders slightly, as if doing crunches. Then lift your legs, shoulder-width apart, all the way up, and lower them slowly. Do 25 reps twice each day. It tones your thighs, tummy and back, and doesn't wear you out like sit-ups or running!

Just bike everywhere! Don't sit after meals, instead stand or walk around your house. Keep off the sugar and fatty food and eat lots of vegetables and wholegrains with fibre so you can feel full longer. There are lots of better ways to get attention. Dressing in skimpy clothes to turn heads just makes you a sex object for the boys. Women can be attractive even without showing their skin!

I've lost 5 kilos in my first week. It's my 10th day and I have included salad with some protein (eg. egg/ lean chicken) as you suggested. After 4 years of trying, the fat is finally coming off. It truly feels like magic!
Get started today!

Squats.....I do them as I'm brushing my teeth. Also, squeeze a rubber ball between your thighs. Swimming and running are good too!
