When you first get them on they will hurt really bad. To help ease the pain chew sugar free gum, and take ibuprofen or Tylenol and eat soft foods. The glue tastes really bad, and they will chew up your mouth pretty bad at first. In the end you will be happy with how nice your mouth looks!

There are many types of braces on the market today. The best ones for you will be determined by your orthodontist. People have said to me that their braces hurt them but when I got mine, they only made my teeth sore for one to three days. Once they put the brackets on your teeth, you only have to go back once a month for a tightening which roughly takes about only a half hour. The first appointment after the consultation will probably be the hardest one for you and then all will be accustomed soon. The fun part is that you get to choose different coloured elastics for your brackets every month for a colourful smile.

well, getting isn't fun. when i first got braces, my teeth really ached and couldn't eat anything but i got use to it after a while. i had my braces for about 4 years. the most annoying part was having to put on the rubber bands. having them taken off is more painful

I dont realy know alot about braces, Its just from my friend experience that he said they kinda bug for a few days. And if they are pinching your lips and or gums then your should ask them to rearange them. They are also for rearanging your teeth back into place.

well 1st of all they suck. but u get used to them after a while. honestly they caused some of the worst pain ive ever felt and ive felt a lot. they ache when u go and get them tightened and u cant eat hard food for like 4 or 5 days after it sometimes. im finally about to get mine off and ive had em for like 2 years i think. they hurt especially when u first get them put on but u will get used to it.

well when you first get them they will hurt like hell. you wont be able to eat for the first couple of days. they also cut the inside of your mouth. and you need to go every month to the dentsit so they can get tightened. but in the end they are worth it since your teeth will become straight and beautiful
