I think more of the flavor than the brand name. Our store sells a gallon of ice milk for 99 cents, with a little chocolate syrup on the vanilla flavor and a splash of milk to form ice crystals, that taste to me is good on a hot day. The expensive stuff is good but I'm not sure I can really tell that much difference. Besides I don't need all the eggs and cream that go into the good stuff.

It's a three way tie in my book - Breyer's Mocha Chocolate Almond most of the time. When I want to splurge a little it's Ben & Jerry's "The Gobfather"......and being a true southern girl, sometimes I just crave Mayfield's Butter Pecan!!

The best ice cream? hmm..... probably Ben & Jerry's half baked. it is cookie dough and bronie ice cream mix.

I luv Edy's slow churned Hollywood Cheesecake. It is cheesecake flavored ice cream with grahm crackers and strawberry swirls mixed in. It is to die for!
