Yes, sometimes. But not all the time. There are progressive movements within all the world's major religions. Sure, there are fundamentalist extremists in all religions, but there are also many thousands of moderates to progressives who often get completely overlooked due to the actions and media manipulation of the extreme right wing.

There is not extremism in 'any' religion basically. There are only few people who claim to know everything about their religion, but in fact, they know nothing. So perhaps, they became extreme etc. But the 'real' religious people aren't extremists.

There is NO EXTREMISM IN religion!!!!!

Yes, I do too. But extremism is not ALWAYS bad. You can even take something like non-violence and practice it to the extreme.
