erythromycin - breaking out after taking it?

hi im currently being put on erythromycin for my acne problems, i found out that ive been breaking out worst ever since i took this, is it supposed to be like this? because i've heard that for some acne treatment, you tend to break out before everything clears up.

should i continue to take the medicine? or should i stop? its breaking out quite seriously in fact.

what is more important is for you to know if you are having an allergic reaction or worsening of acne, I would strongly suggest to call or see your doctor asap, good luck
