I have 2 pit bulls and a pomchi. I would like to get another little dog so he has someone his own size to play with. I would like a black and white or a black and brown dog. Any suggetions. I really don't like poodles, so I know I don't want one of those.

My pit bulls are very gentle when they play with my pomchi. They treat him like he is their puppy. I won't be putting any dog in danger. I am able to have another dog. I am home all the time. If I go anywhere they go with me. I also work at home.

jack russel terrier or another pom cross. I have a Pom, Maltese, Shitzu cross and he's only 8 lbs. My purebread toy pom is only 5lbs.

One the same size or similar to the pomchi... & none if they are all kept together..three's enough then I would think, otherwise you may end up inviting trouble, am guessin if the pomchi is with the pitts, the pomchi already has taken over as the Top Dog & the pitts just let her think she's tops LOL ...Take Care & Peace :)

Well if you know it is a mutt, then you should know that they are unpredictable. They have no predictable traits that we can say "oh yeah, a pomeranian- chi mix is going to be like this or that", it just is not possible with a mutt. Mutts can be great dogs, but they can also be a pain when coming from horrible breeding. That is why we advocate getting a mutt from a shelter rather than supporting the bad breeding they come from. I also don't get why you would state that you know it is a mutt but you still give its stupid bastardized "name". Why not just say pomeranian-chihuahua mix if you were going to write it out anyways? That makes no sense.

do you really think that is wise i had a friend who had a pitt cross and it was nice untill the smaller dog got fiesty with it and killed it and now my friend is sorry she ever brought the other dog in on it . you see those dogs had been together for 9 yrs and the pitt cross just decided to snap one day and killed it . nope you had better leave it like it is. and you are brave to risk the life of that pomchi like that .

I now how you feel, but you already have 3 dogs! There is no use in getting another dog just to get one as company for yours now. You need to have enough time for all of them. But if you really must, a nother pomerainian would be best, but I strongly suggest against it!

Boy are you brave to risk the life of such a small dog with dogs that are so much larger and stronger. One simple play bout with the two bullies could end in the accidental death of your smaller dog. I really don't think adding yet another dog to this situation is wise.
