Hi there. I am bird sitting for one week for my mom. I am a big time smoker in my house. Can this kill this bird in just one week of me watching it and smoking like I do? Will this kill the poor bird? I would cry if my smoking killed him. Any advice???

Well, it's not good for the bird, that's for sure. But your house is probably already smoke filled. Can you take the bird in the cage, outside for some fresh air, daily? Be careful of cooking in a teflon pan or skillet also, getting one too hot will kill the bird in a hurry, and don't spray anything around the bird. Good time to quit smoking, you will help yourself, and think of the money you will save.

It is not good for the bird .Maybe you should try to smoke outside until you give the bird back to your mom.So you dont have to worry so much.

Please.........do NOT smoke in the house.!!!! Birds have a much lower tolerance to the toxins in smoke and can die from being exposed to it.
