I don't know why, maybe I have a lot going on in life, but I've been so depressed lately. I'm supposed to be wearing a heart monitor for two weeks, but I haven't worn it since Thursday. I guess I'm depressed about that, but everyone thinks the reason why I'm having chest pain (the reason why I'm wearing a monitor) is because of anxiety, noot my heart. But I'm still worried! How can I just relax and enjoy the beautiful weather?

Sounds like you are lacking some vitamins in your body. The B & E vitamin is what you need in your body. I have chest pains and it usually is because my body is really tired. Take a day off and just sleep and relax. It will really help! Salmon, Chicken, Turkey, dark green vegetables are some of what you should eat to get the B vitamin.

Walking is an excellent way to de-stress, and combat anxiety and depression. And you have the added benefit of exercise and heart healthy.

I too suffer from depression and anxiety and have been off and on anti-depressants but the thing that makes me feel best is a nice walk. Find a walking trail or indoor walking track and start out slowly, you'll begin to feel the difference in your attitude in no time.

you need to take care of youreself
dont think about everything thats wrong
instead think of whats right family,friends,etc
take a walk
spend time with friends
yoga helps
I suffered from post partum depression twice
and I know that dark place.take control dont let it get to
far.dont be ashamed to tell friends,family,doctors.

Try running around the block a few times every time you start feeling depressed. Join a church group and make new friends!

Eat some chocolate or have sex......Better yet, eat some chocolate while having sex - it's sure to perk you right up :^)
