That all depends on the type of shape that your in now. I would just generally say, 3 sets of 15 in the morning and 3 sets of ten at night. For the first week then kick that up to 3 sets a day then keep increasing each week. Cut those bad carbs down like bread and rice and pasta and potato's. Keep the good ones in like from green vegetables and some fruits. Cut extra sweet fruits like pineapples, and limit it to berries.(and even then small hand fulls once or twice a day.)

each physique has a six %. yet its coated via fat and thats why purely some human beings's six packs are seen. So i'd advise cardio workout inclusive of gentle walking or swimming and additionally approximately 2 hundred crunches an afternoon. i've got been doing this simply by fact of music and dance and that i extremely have a six %. yet i'm a girl so this is going to possibly be much less annoying so which you will get one.

sit ups and crunches cannot give you a six pack. they will give you greater abdominal strength and size, but only low body fat will give you the definition you're looking for. if you're overweight cutting your caloric intake and doing regular aerobic exercise should help. diet is key.
-eat smaller portions
-avoid high fat junk foods, sodas, saturated fats
-read labels
-eat good fats (flaxseed, sunflower, evoo)
-eat nutrient rich/ low calorie foods (veggies, fruit, lean meats)
-eat fiber rich foods (they keep your "guts" clean/healthy and lower caloric intake and cholesterol
-drink water
more to the particular question, technique is more important than the number. it's a quality not quantity thing. a few handfuls of reps done slowly, using your own bodyweight for resistance will (with time and rest) increase abdominal strength and also create an after burn effect. your body will burn calories even at rest. doing many sit ups quickly is an aerobic exercise and most of your movement is due to momentum not your own strength. hope this helps I'm trying to get one myself. the above worked for me and I've lost 45 lbs since x mas.
