1) Food - my favourite - cooking and eating, I enjoy both!
2) History - more than 4000 years, with lots of great events / wars had happened from time to time (始亂興衰), we also had a Queen (武則天) in Tang Dynasty who murdered her own new born daughter in order to accuse her rival that she was the killer and strengthened her relationship between the emperor. And, one of the 3 best, cleverest emperors in Chinese history got his throne by killing his eldest brother and forced his father to give him the throne (but he actually was the one who fought most hard for building up his territories - Tang, but traditionally in that time, it must be the father or the eldest brother got the throne, even though he was the smartest in his family who deserved to be the Emperor! History admits that he did good job when he was an Emperor - it was known as 貞觀之治). You will learn so much about humans from reading history. ~~~~~ No body is prefect ~~~~~
3) Unique Architectures, from the great structures like the Great Wall, Forbidden City till to the men-made West Lake in Hangzhou or the bridges in Suzhou water village.... and many Chinese gardens, historical sites all over the countries.. a never ending list
4) Culture - art in any forms - poetry / opera / dancing / music / painting / paper cutting / ivory carving / porcelain / Yixing Pottery ... all are so beautiful, again, a never ending list
5) People - the features of my mom, my aunt and other beautiful women's faces, black hair, dark brown eyes... I think Chinese are charming! Not just the faces but also the inner parts, the souls, the minds, wow.. where should I start to tell you...?
6) China dress - I personally think it is very sexy!
7) Cantonese movies from the mid 40s till now, you can tell from how Hong Kong changed from a real poor fishing village after WW2 became a modern city now. Movies made from 80s till now from China are amazingly good as well.
8) Chinese Language - I love to read Chinese novels, poems, short articles, short stories, etc.
9) Chinese respect their traditional values, however, we are very open-minded in religious matters (you may find the mother is a Taoist and the son is a Christian while the daughter is a catholic, the father is an atheist and they all can live under the same roof!)
10) Silk - Without Silk, there wouldn't have had "Silk Road"!
11) Unique characteristics of different Provences and cities, customs and styles of living, beautiful natural landscapes, mountains, forests, waterfalls, rivers...etc.
12) Most Chinese (not in those big developed cities) are simple, friendly, innocent, very giving (whenever I visit my relatives in my mom's hometown in China, they always let me pick all the starfruits from their trees, lol.. and they help me to find which ones are bigger and sweeter to pick!) and they are very curious to the outside world or the people from outside world. To me, they are extremely cute!
(All of the above should be in equal level, I love them all, it is not a ranking chart.)
