Global warming is causing the polar caps to melt which in turn is causing the Polar bears to be underweight and the sea to rise. Migrating animals are moving to their new homes as much as two and three weeks earlier before the vegetation has caught up with them. Song birds are moving further North. Check out the National Wildlife federation website (nwf.org) to find out just about anything that you want to know about it.

Why not present some of the information that supports the other point of view. there are as many scientist that don't support the global warming money grab. The biggest spokesman for global warming Al Gore has a vested interest in promoting this.
" He also serves as chairman of Generation Investment Management, a firm that is focused on a new approach to sustainable investing." Taken from the Info on his new book at Amazon.com.
If say you opened a new soft drink company wouldn't you want everyone to buy your product? Look at the facts and follow the money.
Believe what you want but try to do something allot of people aren't doing, "research" and question what the talking heads are telling you.

Trevor has it nailed and deserves the 10 points.
Here's the short version.
It won't be a Hollywood style disaster. Gradually coastal areas will flood and agriculture will be damaged. But it will be very bad. Rich countries will cope, but it will take huge amounts of money. In poor countries many people will die of starvation, but not all of them.
Most scientists say, in 20-50 years. But we need to start right now to fix it, fixing it will take even longer than that.

"there are as many scientist that don't support the global warming "
Not hardly.
"Regardless of these spats, the fact that the community overwhelmingly supports the consensus is evidenced by picking up any copy of Journal of Climate or similar, any scientific program at the AGU or EGU meetings, or simply going to talk to scientists (not the famous ones, the ones at your local university or federal lab). I challenge you, if you think there is some un-reported division, show me the hundreds of abstracts at the Fall meeting (the biggest confernce in the US on this topic) that support your view - you won't be able to. You can argue whether the consensus is correct, or what it really implies, but you can't credibly argue it doesn't exist."
Dr. James Baker - NOAA
"There's a better scientific consensus on this [climate change] than on any issue I know - except maybe Newton's second law of dynamics".

Somebody will surely bring up the extremely dubious "Oregon Petition". Here are the facts about that:

Rising food prices, shortage of water, both hotter and colder weather,
Ultimately,Famine,Wars and death
in North Africa,India,Mexico ,millions of people are effected by land loss and desertification and some have died as a result of heat waves ,as in France 2 years ago
,the Sahara is growing by 7 kilometers a year
and most of the desserts we know are a results of mans actions ,and they are increasing
collectively this planet is drying up ,
each degree rise in temperature means 10%crop loss
and there is less and less water (because of deforestation) and the overpumping of carbon and surface aquifers ,and more and more agriculture requires irrigation
Arable lands and their farms are lost all over the globe.because of desertification and if the sea levels rise thousands of hectares on coastal lands will b flooded
Northern China is drying up, what once were millions of food producing people, are now hungry refugees ,running for their lives from the all consuming dust storms.
This will have a great effect on world food prices when they start buying at what ever cost, to feed their people.
The farmers have to feed some 70 million more people than the year before but with less topsoil.
Over the last half century,
Population growth & rising incomes have tripled world grain demand from 640 million tons to 1,855 million
In the near future the global farming community will not be able to feed every body ,food prices will continue to rise. .
potable water is getting at critical levels and people are already fighting over water this will only get worse

Global warming will raise the temperature of the earth. Skin cancer will pose a greater threat. Less snow days. Species will go extinct. The ecosystem will become unballanced. It's going to get super hot. The polar icecaps will melt causing the ocean to rise and flood all the major coastal cities.

first and top international warming, no rely if this is occurring, is a organic phenomenon that has been occurring for thousands and thousands upon thousands and thousands of years. Mans enter into the reason of international warming is possibly negligible if something in any respect. international warming has grow to be for some human beings very virtually a clean faith. international warming for too many governments has grow to be an excuse to improve taxation. international warming for some human beings has grow to be an risk to make money out of wind generators(approximately as plenty use as a chocolate teapot) and so on. and so on. international warming communicate for some scientists and scientific communities has created a golden risk(you will get a large number of money for examine and then tell human beings what they desire to pay attention). international warming would tutor to be of large earnings. If we've international warming then we've international warming and we would desire to get on and stay with it and adapt as a human race. of direction some animals are going to go through and would, in line with risk, probably, disappear however the animal kingdom may be exceedingly resilient purely the comparable simply by fact the Earth and mom Nature. we've a large number of information approximately our international and we predict of all of us comprehend a large number of the solutions yet i'm afraid that at circumstances that information is used contained in the incorrect way. guy is an insignificant pygmy on the planet so purely leave it on my own to style itself out. sure we would desire to attempt and decrease down at using fossil fuels and use different forms of means era if purely to maintain ourselves from the increasing expenses and make time for different forms of means era to come back on pass. Nuclear is possibly the main way forward and using photograph voltaic panels is yet another. Why no longer look into techniques of means era from rubbish? All this is finished cleanly simply by fact the place there's a will there's a fashion. there are circumstances as quickly as I pay attention all this scaremongering approximately international warming that i've got faith like putting my carbon footprint up many backsides.

The biggest threat posed by global warming is that politicians will use it to scare the stupid among us in order to gain more power. This will lower our standard of living and hurt our economy.
