I was just about to ask this exact same question. You probably think that doesn't make me a good candidate for answering it but lets be honest here, that gives you a BMI of 20.4 which is not at all fat or overweight. I am unsure what your figure is like, perhaps you retain all your weight around your stomach and have skinny legs. If that is the case the best answer is to not eat too many foods that bloat you. Examples of this are things such as fizzy drinks and bread. Also, try doing some crunches to get your stomach flat. Have self confidence, I know it is far easier said than done but trust me you aren't overweight and the boys don't like skeletons anyway. Hope this helps!

Well at 5 foot 7 and 130 lbs you are definitely in a healthy body weight area i would say you could stand to gain up to 15 more lbs and still be okay. A possible reason you could be feeling "fat" is because even if you are thin that doesn't mean you are fit. I have several friends who weight much less then me but if you look at them in a swim suit they look all flabby not because they're fat but because lots of the weight they have is fat and not muscle. My advice to you would be to get off the computer and go running, swimming, and lift weights. This will ultimately change your fat into muscle which will make you gain weight but it will be the best type of weight you'll look better and feel healthier too.

I don't really know you so to be honest you could be one of those super pretty girls who is never satisfied with how they look if so you should really get over it.

My Dear,

You are not over weight. You simply don't appreciate the shape you have. This is very simple to remedy.

Many other responders have told you to exercise and eat less of certain foods. Well, you don't need to lose weight, just reduce it certain areas that you aren't comfortable having it! This can be done very easily.

Take Saran Wrap and wrap it around your stomach and hips when you are going to bed. This makes this area of your body sweat out the 'fat cells' and they won't come back for years and years! When you get older and have children you can even get your breasts back into shape with this method.

IT WORKS! And of course, everybody should watch what they eat and do some exercise. . but don't obsess about this anymore. Just use the saran wrap and within a month you won't be worrying anymore because you will be seeing results.

You are a very good weight. I know you said you knew that, but I think it's important to say it again to you.

To help with the tummy fat, try crunches, and eating more healthy foods. You don't need to go on a diet, but if you make more healthy food choices, you may find that you are happier with your body and how the fat is distributed, or just overall feel healthier.

find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried - no junk food.

I know how you feel. I went through that. Its like everyone is skinnier, your friends, and maybe some others. If you feel so self concious then just tone yourself up. Dont dramatically lose weight or anything. Nothings wrong with you, its normal for someone to think these things about their self.

Fat? At least you don't have RSD. (Reflex sympathetic dystrophy). My friend is in a wheelchair as it's to painful for her to stand on her own legs. A feather or cotton wool bud is too painful for her to rub against her arm - she is constantly in agony. I also know some-one who has tourettes and I myself had OCD. (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder). Maybe you could try joining a dance, netball, football, swimming class - whatever you're up for and cut down on junk foods. Replace junk with water, vegetables and fruit. You'll feel better again in no time but please do remember that you are not the worst off.

What?? You are underweight. Not fat at all. Please stop starving yourself because if you lose any more weight you will be at risk for serious health problems.

Sounds serious. I suggest talking to a specialist in "eating disorders". Anorexia is a life threatening condition.
