I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.
I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.
It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.

Well, I can't answer this complete accurate but I can sort of run you through it. There are 3500 calories in a pound of fat. A woman should be eating 2000 calories a day, that's 14,000 calories a week. Now you would be consuming half of that at 7000 calories a week. That's two pounds lost already in one week. Now we take in to account the excercise, you would be burning 4550 calories a week which is a further 1.3 pounds. That put you at a weight loss of 3.3 pounds a week. Over a period of six weeks technically you should lose 19.8 lbs. Unfortunately, we all know things don't always work that way. Hope that helps as an estimate anyway!

Typically you don't want to consume less than 1200 calories per day without the advice of a doctor. Consuming too few calories can put the body in 'starvation' mode - it will try to hold on to every calorie that comes in.
I've tried 1000 cals/day and found I could lose more weight at 1200-1300 cals/day. Same exercise, same everything else.
Other posters comments are right on ... 3500 calories in a pound, so compare current calorie intake with your plan and calculate the delta.
Good luck.

dont count calories burned - there is no way you know it - machines dont show it wright.
thats how many calories people in coma get and the only thing you are gona get - dramatically slow down your metabolism which will make fat loss in future soooo much harder.
find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried - no junk food.

What do you mean by burn off? By excercise?
If so, this is too much as your basic metabolic rate will be anything between 1000 and 2000 Kcal, dependeing on your actual weight, sex, age and percentage of body fat. On top of that, you need to add what you consume during the day (burn off) - So you are looking in numbers between 1600 and 2600 kCal
Without knowing your height, actual weight, sex and age is impossible to answer your question.
This is a website where you can calculate your own basic metabolic rate:

From breakfast, go ahead and drink orange juice. But throughout the rest of the day, focus on water rather then juice or soda
