I agree. Lansky.

If it's a cheapo kitchen knife, http://www.eknifeworks.com/webapp/eCommerce/prodlist.jsp?Mode=Text&SearchText=accusharp

If the knife is worth your time and money, http://www.eknifeworks.com/webapp/eCommerce/product.jsp?Mode=Text&Brand=&CatalogName=&PriceStart=&PriceEnd=&Feature=&SearchText=lansky&list=50&range=1&order=Default&SKU=SI1095

Nothing beats a Lansky! Not even the cheap imitations.

I make knives and I use a Lansky sharpener. You could probably make a few bucks on the side just sharpening knives for people with the Lansky kit. Hands down easiest most accurate and a razor edge every time.

When I put an edge on a new knife, it shaves the hair on my arm before it goes out the door. A lansky can do that in very short order. Well worth the money you will spend.

Hands down .......Lansky gives you the ability to center cutting edge, Vary edge angles to suit use and by far the most consistant. Especially useful when you need to resharpen, which will be less often as well
