it is hard as one tries so hard to master his desires , but there is no escape we will do sins as we are humans , we are not perfect , but the whole thing lies in the true will of the person in not doing the sin again and trying to be good as god is merciful and gives more than one chance for sinners to repent and be good

I master my desires, becuase you have to, some desires are immoral and unjust, and these you have to control, before they control you, and turn you into someone you don't want to be.

Jesus is the master of my desires . . . I get in the way and do not allow Jesus to master my life . . . or allow Jesus to master me.

“Behold, I am sending you out as sheep in the midst of wolves, so be wise as serpents and innocent as doves." -- Matthew 10:16
Jesus calls the Jews who did not believe in him "WOLVES" and the Jews who did believe in him as "SHEEP". The believers should become as wise, sneaky and deceiving as the generation of Serpents/vipers otherwise they will not survive the onslaught from the disbelieving Jews ?

That desire is the tempter who wants one to kill his brother.
I don't let the devil get that close to me. I never want to kill anyone. I only want what is best for others.
