I just moved 4 months ago. We rented a Uhaul, the biggest one they had. It was well worth it. First thing you need to do is buy a note book & start making lists of everything. Make a list of everything that goes into each box & give each box a number. that will save you so much time. You can look at your list & know exactly whats in each box & where it goes. Use clothes & blankets & towels to pack around your breakables, Don't make the boxes too heavy. Pack mirrors between matresses, Put pillows in big trash bags to keep them clean. We put are 4 cats in their own little carriers, that would probably work for your rats too. Most important, write down everything in the note book so you can keep track of everything. Good Luck!!!
