It's better to use tea tree oil. The coconut oil you want is virgin coconut oil and that's expensive and I don't think it's antifungal properties will be that concentrated. Buy a bottle of tea tree oil from Walmart or a health food shop.

You dont need to use coconut oil for athletes foot, you need a good creme, go to Pharmaist area and browse around or ask someone there.

coconu toil is only for cooking, skin, and hair. its natrual, pure, and helps grow hair and it moisturizes hair very good. I use it but if you want to try it, you can find it in a small or big bottle that says Parachute coconut oil [best brand]. Buy it at an Indian grocery store, very good but not for your foot.

Try a natural goods store. But coconut oil will not cure athlete's foot. It will lubricate dry skin.
Athlete's foot is cause by a microorganism called tinea pedis. You need and antibiotic cream to eradicate it.

Call them. They carry the coconut oil and also have a wonderful medicine they create in the store for athlete's foot.

Some of the food stores carry it If you live near a Kroger store they carry it aso. Look in the food section for it.

You might also try aloe vera gel. I read that in a natural meds book and tried it and it worked!
