An excellent question considering the state of the world we are living in today!
It is necessary for all people to understand the true meaning of the word Jihad.
There is a war going on in man today.
There is a war going on internally and externally.
The true Jihad, as passed down by the Prophets (one and all)
is the one that is being waged in the inner heart of man.
This is the Jihad (or war) that man must focus on.
The Prophet Jesus (PBUH), said to be in the world not of it.
In the world, means (internal).....of the world means (external).
The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was ask to lead in an external war and declined the offer. The Prophet Jesus (PBUH) was ask to lead an external war and also declined the offer.
The clerics of all the religions have lead their followers astray
by involving them in an external war.
May that One God, of Unlimited Grace and Immeasurable Compassion, give man the "Wisdom" to understand the
true meaning of the word "Jihad"...................

In my opinion, a true Muslim who practices Jihad knows that it is not war against others or violence in anyway. Jihad is the struggle between evil and good within oneself.

Jihad means inner struggle, fighting the infidel within oneself. That said, no violence is needed to conquer the 'bad guy' within us, but good faith. Too bad some Muslims don't get the concept.

The War with Evil using weapons could be compared to what THE LORD OF ABRAHAM mentioned in the OLD TESTAMENT :

In other words, if the city's inhabitants object to being subdued/enslaved, they have to be slain nevertheless. Also sparing their life directly contradicts Negative Commandment 49 (see note [65]).

hello Jihad means fighting evil-some will say from within themselves others take it to murdering infadels-those that do not believe the same way they do.
the dead sea scrolls proved the inerancy of Jesus and the bible-and some of the errors of Jihad and the Koran-before that time the prophecies of Jesus in Isaiah had been discredited as being written by 2 or 3 different people, but it was found intact as one book by one Isaiah.

I have witnessed many who stand against the bible so they can make their own rules who stand in error and with muslim males that take after Mohamad in his taking Aisha a 9 year old little girl who he found as the Hadith says on a swing-at his 40 years old and took with his other wives. she wasnt wearing a veil and in todays faster maturity she would be about 6-7 years old and he would be in prison for life

the real issue is -is Islam Jihad and beliefs good for people?=
Isaiah 9:6 beyond the veil "Unto us a child will be born, a SON GIVEN, and he will be Almighty God, and the prince of peace."
