It's a noncontageous genetic disorder in which the person is unable to tolerate wheat gluten. It means they can't have regular (most) bread, pasta, or anything which contains wheat flour. And you must read labels carefully as flour is used in a lot of foods as a thickening agent for gravies and sauces.
