I do not wish to renew my subscription, so how do I get the McAfee window to stop popping up every time I log on? I have disabled all of the programs in the start-up menu already. Thank you.

The answers so far seem rather brutal, but when you consider it, if you don't keep your anti-virus up to date, its usefulness does start to diminish. Uninstallation of McAfee and installation of another A-V does seem the wisest course.

If you do not wish to update your subscription, then delete the software.

If you are using XP OS, then click on start, to the bottom left, then click on control panel, then click on add/remove. Then search for McAfee in the list and delete it.

If you are using Vista, Click on the windows button to the bottom left, click on control panel and click on remove programs.

See you around, pal.
