I have an aftermarket pioneer car stereo and it keeps losing power when I am driving. It does not lose all power because it keeps its programming, it just cuts off and wont turn back on for sometimes a few seconds and sometimes 10 minutes. It is not the deck that is messed up because it did this with another deck. I am thinking this is not a power problem, but an ignition problem. Any help is appreciated.

I think you're right that it's a problem with the "accessory" power input to the CD player. However, the trouble spot may be at any of several different places. I'd start by checking out the vehicle's radio fuse; I've seen a few cases where the fuse fit poorly in the fuse holder and caused intermittent power problems. Other possibilities are the key switch, the plug at the back of the Pioneer unit and the adapting harness between the factory plug and the after-market deck. A poor connection at any of these points might cause the problem.

The accessory input is the red wire at the back of the Pioneer head unit.

some deck have a small reset button on the face, if not i might want to unplug the battery then hook it back up, then attempt to eject the cd. if it nonetheless doesnt artwork then the cd eject motor is probable burned so decrease your losses and purchase a higher end deck so that you'll be able to dodge this issue contained in the destiny
