The cruise is planned for July 2-6, 2007, we are not 'flying' into Mexico and will return to the U.S.on the cruise line. "Royal Caribbean".

I understand that a passport will be required in 2008 for ALL travel to Canada and Mexico.

My wife and I will travel together with our son and we have valid passports.

What does my son require to travel - if anything is acceptable - other than a passport?

My husband and I just got back from a southern Caribbean Cruise 3 weeks ago. We did NOT need a passport. We did need our official birth certificates. He will need one starting January of 2008. ( We did apply to get our passports but they did not come in time. They were delivered after we got back from the cruise.) I wish people who do not know ( they often use the word probably) would stop answering questions.

as long as you don't have to fly back into the U.S . he is fine, this year. My 13 year old daughter is going to Montreal next week with her class. At first they were flying so I applied for the passport 9 weeks ago, it still isn't here so I called they told me it is now 12 weeks . She isn't the only student w/out her passport so they are taking a train -now the problem is her only birth certificate went with the passport application. So Don't apply for the passport you'll never get the birth certificate back in time. Now after spending $90.00 on the passport we won't need I have to get another birth certificate for $20.00. The birth certificate will be fine for him for the trip

Without a passport he will probably not be allowed on the ship. A passport is required now for travel by sea or air. Only land crossings have until 2008.

i think of somewhat everyone seems to be being incredibly over dramatic right here. whilst i became youthful i became aloud to have a small drink in some circumstances. Now i'm almost 18 and that i hardly drink, if I do its for a particular party. basically make valuable your son isn't eating to plenty and responsibly. in case you ban him then he might basically crave it further and extra and can finally end up eating extra advantageous than what you initially meant. in case you are the single giving it to him then you definately understand what it incredibly is and how plenty and you will decrease it. this is going to coach him to be to blame along with his drink as nicely

you better go to the passport office and get a passport for your son, it cost a little more if you want it at the moment, i don't suggest get it from the post office it takes more than 2 months for them to send it to you.
